The hotel has a stunning location overlooking the Nile, providing a beautiful view. However, the service can be severely lacking, as I experienced long waits and a lack of attention. The rooms, while spacious, felt dated and had limited amenities, which is a downside considering the price. Overall, there are some redeeming qualities, but it may not be worth the cost.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are spacious, but they feel a bit dated with older furniture and limited plug sockets. I had to unplug the bedside light just to charge my phone, which was inconvenient.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss. Some staff were attentive and friendly, but I faced long waits at the bar and felt overlooked while local visitors received priority.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views over the Nile. It's a beautiful area, surrounded by nature, and I enjoyed watching the monkeys among the trees.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were decent, though the breakfast had limited variety compared to other places I've stayed. However, the quality of the food was satisfactory.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel grounds are vast and safe with beautiful access to nature, but some facilities felt neglected, especially during busy times.

6.2/10

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the family-friendly environment the hotel offered, but there were quite a few areas that need improvement. While the staff were polite and attempts were made to maintain international standards, I faced challenges with the amenities and service efficiency. The dining experience was enjoyable, but it could definitely be sped up. Additionally, a few updates to the facilities would elevate the overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were generally clean, but I was disappointed that mine didn't offer a view of the Nile. It got a little sticky as there was no air conditioning, just a fan that didn’t oscillate.
Service
7.0
The staff were kind and quick to respond to my needs, but I did notice that service during dining could use some improvement, as orders took a long time to be fulfilled.
Location
7.0
The location is decent, being fairly close to Jinja town and the Nile, but it lacks the wow factor I was hoping for with the views.
Dining
6.0
The food was quite good when it finally arrived, and the breakfast had some nice Ugandan dishes, but the wait time for meals was a real downside.
Facilities
5.0
While the pool area looked nice, it seemed a bit shabby and could use some maintenance. More attention could be paid to general amenities as well.

The resort had stunning views of the River Nile, and the food was fantastic with a wonderful blend of local and international dishes. I appreciated the well-lit facilities at night which made navigation easy. However, room service was often late, and there weren't many child-friendly activities. The steam room could get quite hot at times, but overall, it was a lovely experience that I would definitely repeat.

Jinja Nile Resort offers a beautiful setting along the Nile River with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The spacious family suites provide comfort, though the plumbing could use some improvement. Most dining options are enjoyable and plentiful, but the loud music during events may disrupt some guests’ sleep. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those looking to unwind or have a fun getaway.

I had a pleasant stay at Jinja Nile Resort, which boasts a beautiful location by the Nile and a spacious family suite. The atmosphere was lively due to a corporate event, and while I enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast full of Ugandan cuisine, the loud music kept me up late. The plumbing could use some attention, but overall it’s a decent place to stay.

Rooms
6.0
The family suite was spacious, although the plumbing could have been better, with drains not functioning properly.
Service
